Updated Deadlands Noir to v1.3. Fixed in this release:
Fixed source records on "Filthy Rich" Edge Minor sorting update on some pre-requisites. EDIT: Fixed in v1.4: Removed Fighting pre-req from AB: Grifter Edge. Unhid the arcane skills and set them as pre-reqs for their appropriate ABs. Lenny Zimmermann Metairie, LA, USA Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them): Official (In the downloader) 50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome Coming Eventually Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. Excellent Work.. and getting better and better.
I DID notice a problem with the requirements for Arcane Background: Grifter. Hero Lab requires a Fighting skill which the RPG doesn't. Just a small thing that give one ANNOYING error. |

And exactly the kind of thing that's easy for me to miss. A lot of times I copy something else to use as a base for for something new and I don't always catch some of the things that might have been left-over from the original thing I copied. SO I definitely appreciate the heads up! It also reminds me that the Skills associated with those ABs are not actually supposed to be hidden until the AB is purchased. Recent rulings have shown us that they are supposed to be purchasable by anyone (which makes using things like Voodoo or Patent Science devices easier for folks without those ABs, and they can even help on a Coop role by having the skill but not the AB.) So let me fix that pre-req on Grifter and go back and work on those skills and I'll put out a new version in a bit.

Hey man... I think you are doing a great job. The only reason I even found the error was because I thought the PEG released Archetypes I entered were messed up.

Thanks. And I really do appreciate the finds since it means the next time I use the file for one my characters it'll be one less thing messed up on them!
