Hi everyone,

We hope you're looking forward to the launch of the Shadowrun data package for Hero Lab as much as we are! Shadowrun, along with Hero Lab 3.8, will officially release on August 4th, the first day of Gen Con.

Once Hero Lab 3.8 is released, you'll be able to activate your license for Shadowrun, and also purchase Shadowrun as an additional game system for an existing license by going to the License menu within Hero Lab and choosing "Purchase Data Package".

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: When can I buy supplements for Shadowrun?

A: The initial release will include just the core book and a few bits from supplements. We've already begun work on some of the major supplements, and we plan to begin releasing those as addons in the next few months. As always, users will be able to add whatever custom material they want via the editor, but we'll be tackling all the major stuff ourselves.

We need to nail down the details about the addons with Catalyst at GenCon this week (and possibly in the weeks following), so we won't be announcing any concrete details until that's all sorted.

Q: How much does Shadowrun cost?

A: Our Hero Lab pricing page has the details.

Q: When does it release?

A: Shadowrun and Hero Lab 3.8 will release on August 4th.

Q: Will there be a free demo?

A: Yes! All existing users of Hero Lab, plus anyone who downloads the demo from our web site, will be able to take Shadowrun for a test drive.

Q. When does it release?

Since I'm not going to Gencon , Should I be waiting up until midnight for it? i.e. or will it become available at say 9am EST when the dealer's hall opens? I've been waiting (drooling) for it since I first heard about the SR ruleset some 2 years or more ago, it's the main reason I bought Hero Lab, my D&D 4e habit has only been tiding me along.

One of us, One of us, One of us... *chant continues*

I have been eagerly awaiting this one. Will be downloading as soon as I can get my hands on it.
