Hi,

I know the new Codex: Space Wolves only came out today but does anyone know the time frame for this to be built into Army Builder? I never was any good at creating manual lists.....

There is a stickied post in this forum named "File Release Process" which answers your question.

Ok couple of questions on the new Space Wolves:

1) Are Venerable dreadnoughts no longer able to be considered HQ's?

2) The new rule on Army Consolidation says that SW get a 2:1 for HQ's, So does that mean that we get upto 4 HQ's in any normal scenario?

3)And in tune with the HQ does the new individual rule where they cannot have the same wargear or psychic powers mean that as long as they are similar and not exactly the same they are ok? (Ex. two wolf guard battle leaders both have power fists and bolters but one has krak grenade while other has frag) is that enough of a difference to off set that rule?

This forum is for questions and reports concerning the 40k data files for Armybuilder, and is not really appropriate for rules questions. You certainly won't get any answers here which are remotely official.

Hi everyone,

Just started using the space wolves army builder, works well. I think this is an area where we can discuss things that may be incorrect, but if its not let me know and I'll go to the appropriate thread.

1st thing I've run into is when you give grey hunters a melta, and then the free second melta when the squad numbers 10, if you place them in a rhino a red flag goes up that the squad can't have the second melta gun. when you add the rhino to the squad it makes the squad number go from 10 to 11, maybe that has something to do with it, perhaps the programming for the free weapon is set to work only when the squad hits 10?

any thoughts?

yea after some experimenting, if you drop the grey hunter squad to 9 men it will allow you to have the second free weapon. the rhino adds one to the squad so if you drop the men to 9 then the rhino is the tenth

The bug tracking system over at www.ab40k.org is the best place to give the team feedback.

The team who maintains the 40k files coordinates their work at www.ab40k.org. You'll find the initial release of the space wolf files in the downloads section there.
