Hi all.

I am new to Army Builder but I do have a question.

First off I have all the latest updates.

My question is that my local gaming club makes special rules for combat patrols. Is there anyway to change those rules or better yet add a new Combat Patrol V2 rule set for my list.

Thanks,

Veritechc

As far as I can tell, HL doesn't support adding new profile elements in the augmentation files. Therefore, any changes to the profiles have to go in the .def file that sets up every element of the 40K files.

That means that any changes you make would be overwritten with every update, and there is a note in the FAQ that they won't add house rules to the files.

I looked through the programming to implement the same thing, since my group came up with a 750 point ruleset to support 3-round tournaments in an evening.

In the 5th ed files we are going to see about adding a 'house rule' dat, aug and ext file so users can tweaks files as needed and then keep them during imports - people will have to make sure they do not delete it on import though
