as title, is there some where that the images used in monster entries available in jpg etc form, that could be used for monster art in roll20? I dug through all of the possible places I thought it might be, and while I saw SOME art for characters, i don't really see the quantity that would be expected if the monster portraits were all just image files somewhere.

The art is embedded into each individual portfolio file, and there isn't any sort of command available to save the image out of the portfolio (probably to protect the copyright on the official images).

I can tell you the trick that I use in Pathfinder to get images to use as MapTool tokens; if you add Armidale's Pathfinder Sheet as a custom output, the character sheet saves the portrait image as a separate file.

If you print things to a pdf, there's some tools out there that will extract images from PDFs. I use FM PDF Image Extractor myself.

por files are just zip files. Open them in an unzip program and you should be able to get at the images.
