Magical Secrets issue

Hi there,

I have a bard with the Lore college setup and have selected two 3rd level spells. However, the Magical Secrets field continues to show up in red as though I've done something wrong.

In addition, the spells chosen do not appear anywhere in the printable portfolios. So the player will have every spell they can cast described nicely except for those two, which is less than ideal.

Am I doing something wrong with the program?

OK, what is the error that you are getting when you click on the error?

Is it something like:

Magical Secrets: You have selected the following spells for Magical Secrets but not added them to your Bard Spells Known: Spell1, Spell2

There's a bit of a trick here. If you already selected the ~9 spells you know at 6th level and then chose two more with Magical Secrets, you need to go over to the Bard Spells tab and click on the "No more spells known allowed." text and add the two spells to the list. The spells don't count against the your spells known number but you have to manually add them to this list.

Once you do so, they should show up on the printouts.

Thanks, Dungeonguru. That solved it.

Clicking on "no more spells allowed" to allow two more spells got the job done, though is certainly not intuitive to find on its own.
