Hi mates

there is a game , with files in V.2, "Blitzkrieg Commander", pete said here wont be doing it for AB V.3. as I love BKC, I'll have a go at it.
There is somuch information, i.e. typing already done , can that be copied to AB V3 so that I can continue to work on it?

thank you
Cheers

Shortly after we released AB3, we released a data file converter that will take AB2 files and convert them for use within AB3. Not everything can be converted (due to the drastic changes in how AB3 handles things compared to AB2), but the data files typically do a 97+% conversion.

I have *NO* idea what mechanisms are utilized in the AB2 data files for BKC, so I don't know whether the files will convert cleanly on the first try or if you'll have a fair amount of work still to do. At a minimum, the converter will eliminate the need to re-type everything from the AB2 files. You'll almost certainly need to do at least a bit of manual re-work on the converted files to get them to work well, but the converted files will hopefully save you a substantial amount of time.

You'll find a link to the converter on the main page of our website (www.wolflair.com ). Scroll down to the bottom of the news entries, and one of the oldest ones we've left on the site is about the converter. The link is in that news item.

Hope this helps,
Rob
