The previous post was showing as blank, until you just edited it. Eidolons are not Minions, and are not selected via the Minion tab. If you look at the summoner tab, there will be a spot to add eidolon.

That's how I got to the Eidolon. The Eidolon page has a tab that says minion on the far left that has all the evolution's and info to pick from. There is also a far right area that says dashboard with the title Eidolon on it.

Can you post the por file, odds are its something fairly simple, but until we can both look at the same thing its hard to figure out. Because I see the tab in question with my por files.

Ah-ah, you are creating a chained summoner. Delete your class level, CTRL+K, and enable unchained classes from Pathfinder unchained. Then add a level of "Summoner (unchained)"

OK, that works. Thank you. So, HL does not retroactively alter any "configure hero" elements when the boxes are checked or unchecked? I suppose the fact that I had already had a class in plain ole summoner, that HL left it that way and would further on effect any classes I chose. Can you have chained and un-chained levels on the same character?

depends on the classes. You cannot have both chained and unchained versions of the same class on a character. But you Could have Unchained barbarian and levels in rogue (CRB version). Which would mean you have both chained and unchained classes on the same character which is allowed.
