In what content? You trying to create a new scaling item in the editor or trying to add one to your character?

I want to create an item using the scaling item rules from unchained. Of course to add it to a character.

You have to create them in the editor. Just copy an existing one to see how it's done.

I contacted support regarding unchained rules before buying the package, as i had problems with ultimate combat rules. They confirmed that all rules can be used on ipad. As far as i know there is no editor on ipad or did i miss something?
But thanks for trying to help me. |

No the editor is on a Mac/PC. You cannot create the custom items on the iPad itself. The mechanics work, but unless you make stuff on a computer and transfer it you can just use what is included on your iPad

Okay, so if there is no way to create the item on ipad i would not say that all rules are supported and the support lied to sell the package.
Edit: just checked the response, they said everything works except monster creation rules. Edit2: But thanks for answering my question i really appreciate your efforts. Last edited by Xorez; February 3rd, 2016 at 01:22 PM. |

Hi Xorez,
The editor, along with GM functionality like the tactical console, isn't currently supported on the iPad - you can create new items on your windows or mac computer, then move them to your iPad to be used. If that's a deal-breaker for you, we have a 60-day return policy you're more than welcome to take advantage of. Hope this helps, and sorry for the confusion! |

Hello Colen,
my problem is less that i want my many back or that the feature is not working in itself. Its that i asked support before buying and have been lied to. To be more precise. I asked about the armor DR rules from ultimate combat, as they don't seem to work on ipad. The support answered that its on the list but not working at the moment. That's fine. So i responded and asked about unchained rules on ipad. Thinks like that can happen, but it made angry yesterday and still doesn't feel good. But thanks for your reply. |

Hi Xorez,
The rules from Pathfinder Unchained are implemented and working on the iPad - for example, on my iPad I can make an Unchained Rogue character, or add a Scaling Item, or use some of the variants like the "staggered advancement" rules. The limitation of the iPad is that the editor isn't present, so new content of any type can't be created, whether it's related to Pathfinder Unchained or not. I understand that you want to create an item using the rules from Unchained on the iPad, but the fact that you can't does *not* mean that Pathfinder Unchained isn't supported on the iPad. |
