Hey folks.

Just wanted to take a minute to let you all know about a new Kickstarter that started this week called Deep Magic: A Tome of New Spells. These spells are written by Kobold Press, and includes stretch goals written by some of the best in the business, including Paizo staffers and A-List freelancers.

They have actually just hit their goal today to add HL files to it for all of the features. These files will include the spells themselves, as well as spell adjustments that can be applied to your character in HL while using it at the game-table and who knows what else. (Really don't know yet since the Kickstarter is only 3 days old and already accomplished 12 stretch goals, and there are still 26 days to go.)

Kobold Press has pulled together a great team of coders to help provide the highest quality digital product. I encourage each of you to take a look.

Quote:
Deep Magic is the ultimate sourcebook for new and variant magic in any fantasy setting, offering a bare minimum of 112 full-color pages. They feature:

*At least 12 new schools and styles of magic, including blood magic, clockwork magic, diabolism, dragon magic, grudge magic, ink magic, ley line magic, star & shadow magic, and several more
*12 magic colleges and academies, each home to a magical style or tradition
*More than 300 new spells, including new ones for every spellcasting class in the Pathfinder RPG
*New spellcasting archetypes and new mythic spells
*And much more!

Guess what else has been unlocked!

Everyone pledging Adventure-Wizard and above gets a chance to submit a spell to be included.

Top 30 will be developed, edited and published.

So pledge Adventure-Wizard or above, open that Editor, and get going!!!

Thanks for sharing! Does the Wizard get the Hero Lab files, too?

Yep! According to the Kickstarter page, everything from $20 up (Except the $35 Book Only level) gets the HL files.

Now it's a chance to submit two spells, and the top 60 get published!

That's pretty cool.

Now, if I only had any clue how to use the Editor, and some imagination, and knew anything about Pathfinder and RPG's, I might actually be able to come up with something.

Sigh, I'll forever be the consumer.

What a trip Boomer, I have all the creative juices and have been an RP GM for over 20 years but I am definitely not a coder. I use HL as a supplement to my gaming but I am clueless when it comes to coding. Don't feel bad, many of us are only just 'consumers'.

Flashpower,

Many years ago I used to be an Embedded Systems code monkey.

Gave it up when I figured there were better ways to make more money, and not have to work 12hr days, sleep at the office, etc.
