I have been on Facebook asking around to some of the 3rd party companies, asking them if they will have any official Hero Labs support for their products, because the only way i will allow anything into my game is if they are on Hero Labs. They informed me that since you guys are moving to 2nd ed you will no longer be releasing 3rd party products for 1st edition Pathfinder is this true?

That sounds more like what Paizo is doing - no more support for 1st edition Pathfinder.
Lone Wolf is still supporting HL classic and 1st Ed Pathfinder. If a 3rd party wants Hero Lab files for any game/edition, I believe that it's still their responsibility to get someone to code the files and submit them. If you want a more specific answer, send an email to support. Current RPG's: Pathfinder (GM), Pathfinder (Player), Gamma World (GM, Pathfinder homebrew). HeroLab: 3.5 & Pathfinder. HL User Files for PF: Greyhawk Setting, Gamma World (WIP). DM and player of D&D since 1980. |

We haven’t made an official ruling that we won’t support 3PP for Pathfinder 1, but it may be fair to assume so.

Though that doesn't stop 3PP from doing and supporting their own packages, the way Drop Dead Studios does with Spheres of Power/Might.
(And, of course, it doesn't stop the community from adding any 3PP material that can legally be done.) Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition Currently Playing: Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds |

If nothing new is being released for a system (such as Pathfinder 1e) by it's publisher, it's fair to assume that LWD won't be releasing additional content.
I'd assume the system will be maintained, should any bugs or such be found. And as stated above, third parties can choose to release content of their own, including the community's package. |

Aside from Adventure Paths (until we use them), I buy everything HL/Pathfinder 1e that is available as it's released.
Adventure Paths get added as they're needed. If a third party publisher will have hero lab files, I'll generally back them on Kickstarter, if their product looks at all interesting. The HL support is a major bonus, as our group has the same policy for content -- if there is HL support, it's a valid player character choice but otherwise it isn't. The community package has a lot of our desired content mostly covered (Ultimate Psionics and Path of War), although some archetypes aren't around that my players have asked for, or that I may have wanted to play when one of my players was taking a shot at being the DM. I love that Drop Dead Studios has Hero Lab support. |

Just because LWD sells 3PP content, that doesn't mean they support it. Community projects, at least, are open and accessible for anyone to try to fix any issue. Purchased content is locked down, so if the publisher doesn't fix it, you're SOL. |

RavenX Pronouns: She/Her Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you. I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all. |
