I am not sure how many players this aftects, but it is a feature I would greatly appreciate.
For those of us who play in more than one campaign, there is no "single" default Hero configuration, but one per campaign. Currently I play in two Pathfinder campaigns and am designing my own ground up, having three default configs I can just press a button to reconfig my hero settings would be awesome. This is even a bigger deal since my own campaign world is my own IP, that is to say I am not using ny PF Campaign specific materials, yet the two I play in currently do, but use different materials to some degree. Having say the ability to save configs as Defaults 1 - 4 would give a tremendous amount of flexibility, and ease the remembering of differing configs for differing campaigns/Games. Though I do not use other game systems I suspect they could benefit as well. Thanks, |

From the Tools menu, choose "Duplicate Game System". Each separate branch you create can have its own settings and can have different sets of user-created material.

You can also just save a blank .por file with specific campaign settings. That is even what I use for players when starting a new campaign and email them the file. Then they build a character with all the right settings and allowed books.

@Shadow Thanks thats what I was actually thinking of doing. But for me its especially hard due to the work I am constantly doing in my user file that removes CRB content, and even more soon. Thanks to you both, great tips for others too I hope. |

Yes. You can download Pathfinder multiple times and have it install to each game system.
I have found it easier to download only one time and then go to HeroLab\download\pathfinder.hl and start the installer a second time and tell it "which" Pathfinder game to update. Here is what my HL looks like on start. You can see I have MANY installs of Pathfinder and d20. And the ones without the "Blue" bubble I Have updated: Image1.jpg When you install a new version of Pathfinder (or any package) you can change the install directory. I have highlighted it: Image2.jpg Hero Lab Resources: Pathfinder - d20pfsrd and Pathfinder Pack Setup 3.5 D&D (d20) - Community Server Setup 5E D&D - Community Server Setup Hero Lab Help - Hero Lab FAQ, Editor Tutorials and Videos, Editor & Scripting Resources. This is super helpful! Thanks SC!
BTW Any way to change the logo? I'm working on a Freeport campaign and it would be neat to have that as the logo instead of the Pathfinder one. |

The logo is stored as an image file in the same directory as the data files for that branch, but be aware that each update will replace it with the normal version.
