Is there a way that we (as users) can modify the output and layout of the character sheets before we print them? I'd like to be able to add images, move stuff around, add new boxes, etc.? Since this isn't in the authoring kit (from what I can find), I thought I'd post it here.

This is something on our todo list. Some game systems will require that we first overhaul the data files for handling sheet output before this is possible, as they are using antiquated methods for sheet output.

One of the drawbacks of Hero Lab is that doing something like this entails lots of coordination across all the different game systems. One of the advantages is that, once we get this done, all the benefits apply to all the game systems, plus everything we release in the future. So it's definitely on the todo list and I'm hoping we'll have it finished in the next few months.

I would love you forever if I could print out characters in the system-specific-default stat-block format for Pathfinder without doing anything myself.

I'd be mightly happy with just the ability to allow me to make a custom HTML or XML formatting template for the Summary Print-out.

Mathias is the Pathfinder expert, so I may be stepping into a realm where my ignorance shows. I thought that our Pathfinder statblocks were already using the official format. If they aren't, what do we need to change so that they are?

We might be able to generate summary output in an XML tagged fashion that someone could readily run an XSL converter over. I'll have to talk to Colen about this.
