I've convinced my GM to allow me to add longsword to the list of Monk weapon proficiencies. He's also considering allowing it as a Special Monk Weapon.

What do I need to do to make this happen in my Pathfinder files?

Thanks!

Quick way: On the Adjust tab, add the "Weapon Proficiency" adjustment, and select longsword.

Permanent way: in the editor, make a copy of the monk class, make your new class a replacement for the standard monk class, and in the "Class Weapons" list for the class, add longsword to the list.

Why do monks need longsword.

Thanks! I was thinking it was part of the Monk Weapons feat.

However, in playing around with it, I noticed that the Short Sword, Spear and Shortspear aren't part of the monk proficiencies when they should be.

Fixed in the next update. Thanks for the report.
