Building a Race - Need Assistance

Hiya Gang,
So I'm building a race with some unique special abilities ... and for the life of me, I'm just not getting the hang of how to put them in. At the moment, I'm trying to build the Ratkin from Tome of Secrets ... I'm not so much looking for a build, but rather how to do it ...

Hi Mathias ... I need to build a few custom racial abilities and not having any luck. I was building them in the "Racial Special" tab, but they don't appear for the race under the "Race" tab. Am I building them in the wrong spot?

Okay ... I think I have the hang on how to add abilities. How about how to add a Bite attack?

Or how about a racial skill bonus? Sorry to be a pain, just trying to figure out how the editor works and the tutorials aren't helping much

In the editor, think of a race that has a bite attack, and make a copy of that - study its bootstraps menu, especially the tags there, and figure out how that works.

The same applies to racial skill bonuses - think of a race that has a skill bonus, and copy that race to see how to apply the bonus. Most of the base 7 races tend to put the skill bonus on its own special, other races tend to put them on a script on the race (because it takes extra time to create a special and link it to the race, and the races beyond the base 7 were done more quickly than the base 7).
