Choosing character proficiencies 5e AD&D

As the title suggests I am trying to designate character proficiencies.

I have selected them in the 'Adjustments' tab but on the character output they are not showing as having the prof bonus on the character sheet.

I am likely overlooking something obvious but at the moment it looks like a glaring oversight?

Are these extra proficiencies, not covered by their class, race, or background? Anything provided by those would be selectable in the appropriate tab.

You may want to check the Optional Rules selections in the Configure Hero settings (Character>Configure Hero menu option, or Ctrl+K). Check out dungeonguru's explanation about this in a different thread.
