Is the "Add wave Serpent" entry under the "Transport" headings in the options list for the relevant units not present?
I know it goes away if you have too many members of the unit for it to hold them all.

The Wave Serpent is an option for each unit allowed to take it. Therefore, the place you need to look for a Wave Serpent is in the unit you want to get the Wave Serpent for.

For Example:

Hopes this helps!

What version of Ab are you running?(3.2d?) And what release of the ab40k file do you have? (1.08c?)

I am not able to recreate your problem without know what else you have selected, what race, etc.

What you have just responded to me was helpful but is not specific enough to help get to the problem point. What unit are you attempting to give the Wave Serpent to? How many models are in that squad? Furthermore, It may also be helpful to give me a step by step account of what you do from the start of AB.

I believe you might need to re-look at what you're doing.
I just checked this again using a Fire Dragons squad with the most current version 1.08c, downloaded from our website (as its not in the update feature in AB yet). The Wave Serpent is there and is functioning perfectly.

Once again,
You are aware that each dedicated transport option is listed in each separate unit's options? (For instance, If you want to get a Wave Serpent for your Fire Dragons you would first choose the fire dragons, then in their unit options the lowest option[scroll down] is the Add Transports option.)

I will do my best to help figure this out!

On a side note:
From what I noticed when rechecking this for Darksun, The Wave Serpents don't disappear anymore due to being over squad size. It will just throw a validation error instead.

as i step by step i go open AB and select warhammer 40k i select my army as eldar and my points value, i have it set to allow special characters but nothing else

my first unit was fire dragons, a squad of five with no upgrades, in the right hand corner is the suad add on menu,
it has teh options for upgrades, special rules and a transport, i can give them an exarch upgrade [there is a box i cna click on for it]
there is nothing between special rules and transports for me to click on, and there is in green the word transport but no option for a wave serpent
its the same with all my other units that can take a dedicated wave serpent
