Hi Team,
I signed up for player's edition RW to see all the great work our DM was adding to our Realm, all was well when... DM came over for a face to face game and wanted to login into his DM version of RW and it wouldn't allow the username to be overridden on the login screen??? I tried uninstalling RW, logging in as him on Lone Wolf, re-downloading the DM version, but unfortunately when I launch the newly installed RW it still has my player username "locked" in the username field??? We had to pull out a friend's laptop which had never installed any RW and start fresh for our DM download, login in and finally access his DM version of RW and update our game. How can I get my player edition RW user details to release themselves from the software to allow another licensed user to log in on the same PC? |

RW ties itself to the Windows account when installed. It might be possible to setup a new Windows user on the computer and log in through that user but I'm not sure if that will work.

It's tied to the existing Master folder in your Windows user profile, which is not deleted when you uninstall the application.
LWD's recommendation is to create a new Windows user and switch users, letting each have their own Master folder. You could also move or delete the existing Master folder, which would let you log in as a different RW user under the same user profile. When your GM is done you'd have to do it again to switch back. |

Thanks guys, I went to User > "Me" > AppData > Local and deleted RW folder. Launched RW and still my username is locked.
Can you be more specific with which master folder needs deleting or if there are any other steps to try? I'd prefer DM access on my normal windows profile then I'll create another windows profile to setup my player access on. |
