Subject: 40k Imperial Guard Wargear error

Hi,
I hope this is the right place to note this sort of thing. I've
noticed that there is a small omission on the Imperial Guard list
com-linnk wargear. The army builder file notes the following.

"If the command hq has a comm-link, one squad per turn that also has a
comm-link can, at any time, use the hw's leadership instead of its own."

However, the wargear description from the book notes the following.

Pg 8

"If a commmand HQ or command section has a comm-link, then one squad per
turn that also has a comm-link may use the leadership value of the
officer, no matter where on the battlefield they are located."

I know it may seem like a minor distinction, but it is actually
important, as it allows command section to provide leadership as well as
the command hq outside of 12". It's not really a huge deal for those
who have a codex, but if the kind fellow who does the warhammer 40k file
updates could correct it whenever there's a free opportunity that would
be awesome for those who don't check against the book. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Alex

Which is what you should be doing anyway.

The datafiles were never meant to replace the need for a codex, and are vaguely worded in many areas intentionally for that effect. We do not wish to have our work construed as an attempt to assists people in playing 40k without purschasing the proper codex for their army.
Cheers,
