Does anyone know of a way to institute this into herolab? I have a game that is pirateish and we use the defensive bonus optional rule instead of armor and I wanted to incorporate that into HL. I realize I could prolly make an armor or something and use that as Defensive bonus, but I wanted something a little more smooth. Any ideas?

The easiest thing to do is probably to add an Armor Class adjustment for Defense, and set it to the appropriate value.
