oooo. thanks for that, that'll definitely help towards my ultimate goal of the TV setup in the table.

That sounds brilliant!
I'm going to have to check it out.

Thanks.

We just have one player control with a mouse usually. Normally it's for combat only so orientation isn't an issue. We do have a logitech touchpad as well but honestly, it hasn't been used in weeks.

And right now, it's only about $2k shy of that goal, with 36 hours left.

UPDATE: They've hit the $65k stretch goal, so multi-user, multi-touch is a go!

I hate you people (ok, people is the wrong word, Muses is more appropriate). You gave me pictures, which in turn game me ideas, which in turn made me get off my lazy behind and clean out my garage.

I am posting my gaming table, which is in my gaming room (version 2.0).

Again, I want to be clear in my statement: I hate you people

Can't tell from the pictures. What material is that tabletop?

This is exactly what I do, except for one thing. The TV I use is 46" and I put it directly behind my laptop. This let's me have a bit of privacy (read GM Screen).

I WOULD like to move it to the end, but then I'd need a REALLY long HDMI Cable to go under the table and hook up at the other end. Not to mention an extension cord to run the same length (I have the plug behind me in my dining room).

I LOVE using the TV for display. It's REALLY big and even smaller images look pretty decent at 720p (1600:900) which is large enough for them to read the default text size. At 1080p, I'd have to increase ALL the fonts to about 20 for the players to read everything without straining.

monoprice.com for an HDMI cable. Seriously cheap, and worth it if it lets you come out of hiding.
