I may have missed it, but has anyone got saves files of the base Archetypes found in the handbooks? Or does anyone know where to get them?
I have the DC ones but am lost in finding the core rules versions. It would be much easier to make related characters from the base archetypes if we had them on file. |

I think mine are under the Stock portfolios in the default Hero Lab install for M&M 3.

The archetypes from the core rulebook are included as stock portfolios in the Mutants & Masterminds dataset. You can import copies of them from the Portflio menu.

Ok so I found the players handbook ones. What about the Villain Archetypes? Anyone got those?
OOh this is realy starting to annoy me Whilst I have found the 'stock" heros, why can I not delete powers from them to make my own? I can ad powers, I simply can not remove current powers! I've tried copying the file, checked read only, iomporting, saving as new portfolio????? So very annoying! Last edited by Savourn; February 19th, 2014 at 01:10 AM. |

A number of the archetypes were done as containers of powers, so you may have to click into them to delete individual powers. And, of course, characters such as the Crime Fighter get their powers from equipment, so you have to delete the equipment.
I can change them just fine here. I can't save them because I don't have a 3E license, but I can change them and see the changes. |
