OK so I followed the FAQ and checked the pathfinder adventure path sets but I still cannot create a pathfinder character. The skills, domain powers, feats and spells are not correct. Hmm advertised to support pathfinder on website. Hmmm did I just waste $30.00.

If you're expecting to see Pathfinder RPG, that is not currently supported. It only supports Pathfinder Adventure Paths, which are 3.5 compatible.

Wow so the developers should be a little clearer about their claim to support pathfinder.

I think the claim to support Pathfinder is very clear, the developers haven't said they support the Pathfinder RPG yet, just Pathfinder Adventure Paths, which use the srd 3.5 rules So if you import all the Pathfinder Adventure Path Data Files Rise of the Runelords, Curse of the Crimson Throne and Second Darkness. You get Pathfinder support not Pathfinder RPG support which if the Beta is anything to go by uses a modified version of the 3.5 Rules.
Whats misleading about that? Under the "What's Included?" heading on the D20 page it clearly states Pathfinder Adventure Paths are included. http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?co...age=d20_system |

It's stated in this post --> http://forums.wolflair.com/showpost....4&postcount=22 what the plans are for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. The Pathfinder Adventure Paths have been supported for some time.
It's important to understand that the Pathfinder Adventure Paths and the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game are separate product lines. |
