Hi Team,

This post is to let you know that a team of us are working in the background to replace all the content that is missing in the SRD.

How much work has been completed?
Most of the work is now complete. We are cleaning up the files in preparation for release.
BACKGROUNDS
100% entered and usable in-app.

DEITIES
85 new deities added (FR, GH, DL, Eb, Non-Human)

FEATS
See HERE for status of feats.
If you know how to script and can help fill these gaps please reach out to me.

MONSTERS
Effort on hold pending next update from Lone Wolf.

RACES
100% of race options added and working in-app.

SUBCLASS OPTIONS
100% of class options added and working in-app.

SPELLS
100% of spells added and working in-app.
Where can i get the files?
We have not released any of these to the public yet because we have created content that is like for like with the PHB and therefore would be breaching on the T&C that WOTC have in place.

When will you release the files?
As soon as they are ready. We are trying to have all functionality working prior to release. This means we need to sort out the remaining feats.

What can I do?
I know how to script!
We are looking for help filling the outstanding FEATS.

I have no idea how to script...
Please await release.

I work for Hero Labs
Thanks for the awesome application and being an amazing team.

Can you send me the files, i need them for my game...
No. Sorry. We would love to but until we are ready to release them publicly we won't be making them available. And before you say 'but'. There are legal issues here and we won't be budging on this position.

Awesome news. When something like this is publicly available, it will give me the justification needed to purchase the D&D 5e Hero Lab module. Thanks for your efforts to help the community.

Ok, just to get this straight, the community files being worked on by those who can code are radioactive and as such will not be released? Then what was the point of doing them?

I admit, I am confused. I am lost as to what DMSGUILD has to do with anything.

Sorry for being so dense.

Help this old man understand, please.

The files we are creating currently are using names and text from the PHB. These cannot be released. We are doing this first because we need to get the mechanics of all the things working. Names and descriptions will then be changed allowing us to release to everyone.

The better thing to happen however would be for us to upload the files to the DMGuild. If we release on DMGuild they can contain 100% of the content including names and description. If you release something on the DMGuild however that is the only place it can be released. The DMGuild has largely been focused on text based content so we are awaiting communication from Lone Wolf on whether they think we can do this or not.

Ideally DMGuild would be the better alternative. Then you can have the files as you want them, with the real names and full descriptions.

I think I understand now. My future options will be something like....

Either files with name changes to protect the team or files with the original names, but has to be purchased through DMGuild.

Does this sound like I got it?

Hang tight. We're talking to the experts on this stuff. That doesn't happen overnight. Once we've got clarity on things ourselves, we'll share that info with the person(s) who is(are) spearheading the community effort.

Thanks for your patience. We want to get this right, just like you do.
