I'm wanting to implement the Jotunbrud feat from Races of the Realms along with an update.
I want it to work like the Powerful Build racial trait of the Half-Giant from Psionics Unleashed which reads as follows: "The physical stature of half-giants lets them function in many ways as if they were one size category larger. Whenever a half-giant is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for a Combat Maneuver Bonus or Combat Maneuver Defense (such as during grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), the half-giant is treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous to him. A half-giant is also considered to be one size larger when determining whether a creature’s special attacks based on size (such as grab or swallow whole) can affect him. A half-giant can use weapons designed for a creature one size larger without penalty. However, his space and reach remain those of a creature of his actual size. The benefits of this racial trait stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject’s size category." If you wish to determine your character’s height and weight randomly, your base height is 6'4" (male) or 6'0" (female), and your base weight is 210 lb. (male) or 170 lb. (female). So how would you work this as a feat? It seems like a lot would have to be done. |

Thank you, Mathias.
Since I thought Powerful Build was a third party ability for Pathfinder, I didn't think it would already be in Hero Lab. |

Hi,
I know you say above that the powerful build is built in, but I've been up and down the feat list and I can't find it anywhere. Can you give me some more information on locating it? I don't have much experience with this, yet. |

It's not a feat, it's a racial trait, which is a different beastie.

Yes, it is a racial special. If you wanted you could easily make a feat that bootstrapped that racial special so that when it is added the character will gain the Powerful Build special.
