(M&M 3e) Advantages question

I have a simple question...
My good friend was wondering if there was anyway that the colors can be changed on advantages depending on where they come from. for example, normally purchased Advantages could remain black while those bought in a power or device be say blue or red, to let the player know and better contend with a vast list of advantages.

if you could also inform me on how to edit the thing myself, that would be very cool

You could use the Custom XML export for it and generate HTML or other marked up text based on where the power is found. I can provide Python or C# code that I used for 2E. It's pretty easy to adjust for 3E.
