iPad skills tab, meaning of exclamation point symbol

Forgive me if I'm missing something blatantly obvious, I'm new to both Pathfinder and Hero Lab. The app is great, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the grey shield with exclamation point symbol in front of certain skills means.

Since it's only displayed in front of dex based skills such as acrobatics, climb, disable device, escape artist, etc. I figured that it was due to dex being my only +0 ability. But changing my ability scores didn't change it...

It's not of vital importance, I'm just hoping someone can tell me what it does mean.

That marks skills that your armor check penalty applies to.
