Masterminds Manual HP option

I was excited to see that the Hit Point option from the Masterminds Manual was supported by the expansion, and then disappointed to find that it just changes the damage track portion of the character sheet. I know the number of people using that option probably isn't very high, but is there any chance of an update changing the damaging powers to their damage dice, protection to its damage reduction, and Healing/Regeneration to their appropriate hit point values? I don't know if it would work better as a table look-up or as optional powers, but it doesn't sound impossible.

Thanks! It would be a lot more convenient than sitting with the book and adding the values as extra information.

I don't know if there are still big additions being made to 2nd edition files now that 3rd edition is coming out, but is there any chance this could still happen?
