If I wanted to take a magical weapon that is a specific type, say a sword of lifestealing, and recreate it so that it were a rapier rather than a longsword, should it be as simple as going into tools, creating a copy of the weapon, changing the "base weapon" to rapier, and saving it?
'Cause I'm getting screeds of errors when I test the item. NB: It's not actually a lifestealer, but an AP specific weapon. I just figured using a more commonly known weapon would get more peole reading. Thanks. |

Is the list of errors like THIS?
If so you have run into a binary application bug. Congrats! The ONLY way to get around this is to Exit HL and restart it. Then you can once again use Test Now! for X number of times until it appears again. That looks very much like it. I'll try turning it off and on again in the morning. Thank you.
(So, changing the base weapon should have worked?) |
