Do you mean "from 3+"? Necron scarab's save is a 4+,
its the only model in the army without a 3+. The pdf
of the WD article with them in it is a free download
from GW's website, I just double checked there.

Hi! I'm running a High Elf Ranger warband on a friends Army Builder version
1.0 and just recently bought Army Builder version 2.0 for my computor. I
know your working on upgrading all the files for version 2.0, but I would
appreciate any information you have on the High Elf Rangers for version 2.0.
Thank you, Lews Therin Telamon

Really? How odd. I got two separate emails saying "it's 3+, you
imbecile". Can anyone remember what issue of White Dwarf the necrons
arrived in?

I'm looking at the .pdf from GW's web site (scan of the WD) - it's a 4+.

Presumably it's not just a scan, as this would be enormous - if it's
been typed in, there may be a mistake in it. Has anyone got the issue
number of the WD the necron list appeared in, so I can check it there?

Not that I would ever field a toaster oven army, but the army list is posted
on the new US GW web site. So dont waste your time looking through the old
WD copies!

nopers, it is a scan... (although a low res one) just under 3MB. I'll look
through my issues tonite and find it for you. The link the the .pdf file is
here:

The Scarabs do, indeed, have a 4+ save, while the rest of the army is a 3+.
I got this from my photocopied Chapter Approved compilation, so I don't know
what issue of WD its from, but it was a direct copy.

Rob,

I don't remember seeing this before, but when I start AB 2.0b it says "(Not
Licensed)". I am using the CD of 1.4d. It appears to work just fine.

Thanks,

That just means you don't have a "Licensed" version. If you did, your
license number would appear in that spot - it's new in 2.0b.

Doesn't the "CD Version" count as being licensed? Hmmm.... nothing to hold
my breath for (and would have been great if I noticed it during 2.0a) but
maybe Rob can put "CD Version" instead of "Not Licensed" when the program
detects the CD. 2.0c I guess...

Don't all the bugs come out on the day of a release?

It wasn't there in v2.0a so you wouldn't have noticed it :-)
I agree, "CD License" as opposed to "Not Licensed" does give you
appropriate warm and fuzzies :-)
One for v2.1 Rob?

Russell.

I just looked in my copy of WD 230, and scarabs get a 4+ save. Looking
at GW's necrons.pdf, I'd suspect it's the pdf they made the magazine
from, because it's identical in its layout, and when viewed, constructs
itself from multiple elements.

Thanks for the encouragement and support! It's a lot of work on this end,
but it's gratifying to know that everyone appreciates (a) the effort and
(b) the end result. :-)

Thanks, Rob

Hello!

I didn´t know anyone would be interested in that file. I just uploaded the
newest version for Army Builder 2.0 on the egroups page.

Dieter

P.S.: I also have a well rounded selfmade Wood Elves warband. So if anyone
is interested...

Damm it!! It figures that something stupid like this would slip through!
It's just a stupid oops in displaying the proper info. A bunch of people
asked for it, so I added it in, and then no one caught that it failed to
recognize the CD properly. The program recognizes the CD properly, but the
splash screen display didn't. :-(

Notice I said "didn't". Since this is something that is going to generate
lots of confused users (read: support questions), I cheated. I fixed it and
re-uploaded V2.0b. Yes, I know this is not generally a good practice (OK,
it's usually a BAD practice), but I did it anyways. :-)

Anyone who downloaded V2.0b within the past 8 hours should just download it
again. The splash screen is the ONLY thing that changed, and this only
affects CD users. So, you only need to grab V2.0b again if: (a) you use the
CD and find the message distressing, or (b) you have nothing better to do. :-)

Thanks, Rob
