Ok, I think I'm to the point of where I need to let v0.1 of the DW:AiTaS Herolab dataset out into the wilds to be put through some paces.

If you don't have the Authoring Kit, you can still run the DW files in Demo mode which, I believe just keeps you from saving.

Note, that this is just the initial release for the basic rules (no UNIT Sourcebook or Time Traveler's Companion), but you should be able to create a character completely.

Unzip this file and then import the .hl file with the Herolab import option.

Please post here, PM, or email me at TN_Clegg at lycos dot com with any comments, issues or suggestions.

Exterminate! Exterminate!

RavenX Pronouns: She/Her

Please do not PM me to inquire about datafiles I coded "for personal use" such as Exalted, World of Darkness, AD&D, or Warhammer 40K Roleplaying. I appreciate your interest, but I do not own the Intellectual Property rights to these game systems. Nor do I have permission from any of the Publishers to distribute the data files. As such, I cannot distribute the work I have done with community on these files. They are "for personal use" only. Thank you.

I am far too busy these days to answer emails. If you message me here there is no guarantee I will get back to you at all.

I'll be getting the Authoring Kit soon (when I get time to install Herolab and try it out) - I'm keen to help on this.

I'm tempted to, but I don't have the game system, I'd only be able to look at it mechanically. I might do that though anyway. The doctor is just awesome enough.

Thank you for this TCArknight. Been hoping someone would be making a download for this. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I've given it a try. So far it works well but I get two warnings:

Story Points: Resource unspent.
(Gadget name): gadget must be specified.

In the first instance I'm not sure what it is referring to. As to the second I guess that's due to something you are working on?

Hope that helps.

For the Story Points unspent message, I'm working on getting rid of that. Right now, you get that message as long as you have greater than 0 Story Points.

What Gadget were you adding? I think I may have fixed that in what I'm working on now, but I want to be sure.

Cool. That makes sense.

I simply made a gadget to test it out. Named it and then gave it the scan ability and knowledge skill.
