I bought a HL license a few months ago, included two seats.

My main computer is temporarily down for a while so
I installed HL on my laptop.

Well, my laptop went down now also, and I'm on my girlfriends computer and want to install HL for a while until I get my main and my laptop going again.

But here's the thing, eventually I want to get where I have HL on my main computer to build content with, then HL on my laptop to have for game day.

So, what do I need to do to make this go smoothly?

You should have a secondary license so that you can install it on both. You get one free, which you can manage here. You can switch each of them every few months, or if you need to switch more often, you can leave a message at support@wolflair.com.

When you install Hero Lab Classic, there will be an option to Move License to this machine. You can move it back when your machine is fixed.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing: D&D 4e,
Pathfinder First Edition
Former Games: D&D 5e, Mutants & Masterminds (2E & 3E), Savage Worlds
