Ditto. Happened in L5R 5.1 and 5.2.

Any movement on this issue?

I turned off the webserver until I get back from Utah (which will be
Sunday evening), but I saw plenty of requests for the pictures.. Just
wondered.

Adding Undo functionality is now on the todo list. However, be aware that
implementing Undo is a HUGE undertaking compared to just about everything
else on the todo list. So the added value of the Undo feature is going to
have to be more compelling than the combined added value of multiple other
features in order for Undo to actually get done. Realistically, this means
it probably won't make it into a V1.4 update, for which there are still
quite a few very important features clamoring to be added. :-)

I don't understand what you mean in your second feature. Can you give me an
example, please?

User rating of cards is already on the todo list, along with filtering on
those ratings and adding user keywords that can also be filtered on. These
are some of the things that I was thinking of when I said the Undo feature
has a lot of competition for V1.4. :-)

The ability to print just enough proxies WAS added to the todo list. It
just didn't get completed in V1.4. The overall todo list for CV has well
over 200 tasks on it. For each release, we have to cull through that list
and pick the ones that we'll end up actually adding. There's no way we can
do them all, and we take our best guess on which ones are the most
important to be added. Unfortunately, this means that there will always be
folks who think we picked the wrong ones. I figure that, as long as we are
batting .700 or better (i.e. most users think we chose well on 70% of the
features in a given release), then we're doing pretty well. And if we can
hit .900 or better, then we're golden. :-)

Thanks, Rob

I can't get access to the URL you've specified below. Please advise so I

Thanks, Rob

Rob,

Like I said... it's down at the moment.. I can host one
temporarily...

http://64.156.238.83:255/Stuff/CVError/

It'll be up there for another few hours or so..

But after that, i'm in Utah right now (and it's being hosted on
Dialup, so it'll be slow)..

I won't be back at my homesite until Monday afternoon.. Then the
original URL will work.

I have to go out of town this weekend. We're having a wake for an old
friend who's officially entering "old age" (read: turning 40). Too bad I
already beat him to the milestone... :-)

Anyways, I won't be able to look at it until next week anyways, so I'll
just get it then. :-)

Thanks, Rob

So what O/S are you using? This problem doesn't occur on the few
environments we've tested here. It's possible the problem only occurs for
some O/Ss or certain physical configurations. Please give me as much info
as you can so that we can try to setup an equivalent (or nearly equivalent)
system to test on here.

Thanks, Rob

Rob,

I'm on Windows 2000, Service Pack 4.

Physical Hardware as Follows:

Dell Inspiron 2600 Laptop
Pentium 3, 1.13 GHz
512M Ram
20Gig HD
CD/DVD Combo Drive (NOT a Writer)
100bT Lan, behind the router for my private network
Wireless NIC (Dell 1150 Truemobile card), Outside the router for net
access.

That's probably about everything you'd need, I'd imagine. If anything
else helps, let me know.
