Martin" <jlmartin@wi.rr.com> Subject: Infinite loop warning I am working on a data file and army builder reports a serious error that resulted in an infinite loop. The problem is, I don't think the file has an infinite loop. Here is what I'm doing: I have a unit called Platoon with two options HQ with two AUTO option links for HQ and SQUAD. Since HQ works fine, we can ignore that I think. Anyway, the SQUAD option adds a size 3:3 unit called 'squad' Now squad has four auto option links for: Squad Leader (adds apropriate child unit to squad size 1:1) Asst Squad Leader (adds a apropriate child unit to squad size 1:1) Machine Gunner (adds a apropriate child unit to squad size 1:1) Riflemen (adds a child unit to squad size 7:7) These last child units have no options. Does anyone know which is happening or if it possible to increase Army Builder's recursion depth or something? I have nearly completed incorporating the new supplement but GW have just thrown in a revised rule for Elven Blades. I need a little help with a couple of points. Firstly how do I get the files distributed? I believe that they need uploading to the ABFiles group. Secondly there is a goblin drum which comprises a drum and two drummers. It compares closely to a war machine with crew. I have made the drum a unit and it takes an option for drummers which in turn calls a unit of two goblins. This gives me three models. However the drum does not count towards the total model count for the force. How can I make the drum not be counted? They could have the usual 2:2 size statistic, with the drum being treated as an item rather than a child unit (or model). This means that the drum is present on the roster, and has its rules available, but does not count as a character model. Hope this helps.
