This error has resulted in an infinite loop when resolving relationships for the top level unit "Tanith Infantry Platoon" and its children. Army builder has given up trying to resolve the situation, so youre roster may contain invalid relationships. Please contact the data file creator (me) about this problem. any Ideas on what this could be????? --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Here's the catch, after reading the documentation and such, and given that I have very little expeience with builing database files of any sort, I feel a little overwhelmed. I'm hoping you all can help me through this. I understand that the critical first step has to getting the data organized before jumping in. But the game I'm looking at is a little odd when compared with others of it's ilk. I'm looking for feedback on where to place the data. I haven't found a game that handles the data in a way that should be similar to what I want because the game is odd. If youre interested, it is a neat little superhero skirmish game called Supersystem. Unlike most games therer isn't a basic starting profile for the characters, unless you assume strait zeros, because each players characters are completely custom. What I hope to get out of this is the ability to build characters inside the program and have them print out nice and clean. I imagine (maybe incorrectly) that the base character would list as straight 1's in the 4 basic attributes (technically the lowest possible). Then in the options side bar there would be a list of everything that can be modified, starting with the Attributes and including all the cool abilities that Super Heroes can have. I'm guessing for ease of use I would like to have the options sidebar group related powers together into sub catagories (example, Brick characters [like the Hulk] can have Super Strength, Hand to Hand Attack, Armor etc., so the typically used powers for each type would be in a sub group. I don't know if it's a problematic complication, but in many instances it would be helpful to be able to list the same power under different sub catagories. For example, Bricks and Brawlers [like Daredevil] both use the Melee Attack power, but would intuitively be different catagories. Anyway You have an idea of whew I'm at and what I want to get out of this. Where should I start and what should I do first. Thanks, Jeff P.S. I appoligize for any spelling errors that have crept in. I'm using Yahoo's web based email program here at work and it is obviously very primitive. __________________________________________________ ______________________ __________________________________________________ ______________________ Your use of Yahoo!
