Subject: Re: Version 2 is ready + trouble with cd fix for me

Hay,
The problem I had was this. I had the army builder download version
installed on my computer not the cd version. when I installed the new V2
I lost the regcode. I then put the cd (witch I had not installed on my
computer) into the drive and waited till the light went out. I started
the program up and got the did not recognize message. Once I removed the
V2 and install the V1 from the disk it was fine.

The reason I was telling you guys about this is I saw that some of
you are going to get the cd version. They will have to uninstall what
they have to make the cd work.

Thanks for the reply

Wes.

PS Rob colen needs the files OK!!!

Hi Colen,

I know you're racing to give us the v2.0 files for 40k and Mordheim, and I
thank you for all your hard work, but thought I'd better point out a bug in
the 40kRedII files that you might have missed in writing the version 2.0
update.

One of the last updates allowed an Ork Warboss to take a truck without a
nobz bodyguard, this is correct. Unfortunately as currently working, the
files won't let you take a truk with a bodyguard, this is
incorrect. :-) Selecting the Nobz Bodyguard option for the warboss
deselects the truk option, even if previously selected, and there of course
is no longer a truk option in the bodyguard listing.

Something you may need to touch up, particularly for the Cult of Speed.

Cheers,
Phil G.

Thanks for clarifying. The critical item is that no one needs to uninstall
anything! Uninstalling can take other things with it, which can lead to
unnecessary work to re-install everything. All that is necessary is to
forcibly install the older CD over the newer version. As of Saturday
morning, there is now a detailed set of instructions for this provided on
the web-site.

Thanks, Rob

I have a registered on-line version 1: how can I upgrade to version 2
without purchasing CD?

I'm very curious about version 2, I just can wait to see it, but I don't
want to waste all my datafiles and then wait a week to get the new
registering!

Thanx 4 any help!

Step 1. Go to web-site at www.wolflair.com
Step 2. Go to Army Builder link
Step 3. Go to How to Order page
Step 4. Click on link at top of page for upgrading users.
Step 5. Read the instructions, choose, and proceed accordingly.

Hope this helps,
Rob

P.S. V2 will read V1 data files and we now provide a free 30-day license
with a CD so there is no down-time while waiting for the CD to arrive.
