This is what's used to replace Charisma with Wisdom with the Empathic Diplomat Trait:

~ If we're disabled, do nothing
doneif (tagis[Helper.FtDisable] <> 0)

perform hero.child[skDiplo].assign[SkillOver.aWIS]

I want to make a Trait that replaces Wisdom with Charisma when using Perception, does anyone happen to know what the [sk] for Perception is?
I'm not sure where to find it otherwise.

There's multiple ways of getting that sort of data...
1. Quick way but not as specific... Develop > 'Enable Data File Debugging'. Then select 'Floating Info windows' on the same menu list, and pick one that sounds relevant like Selection Tags or Fields
2. More detailed... In the Editor, select the tab with the type of thing you are looking for, eg: General > Skill, select "New (Copy)" and you get a list of EVERY Skill with its ID.

There's also a "Find Thing" button in the Eval Script window (among others) that let's you look for all things that exist which can be narrowed down by type (skills, abilties, etc).
