why is it allowed for wizards to take magic armor? i thougth wizards can only take magic armor if you are allowed to give them mundane armor?

They should be able to take the Armour of Tarnus but not the others.

Who are you talking to ToM? While phrased as a question, I don't think that was really a rules query as much as an attempt to point out that the current build of the files allows Empire wizards to (erroneously) take magic armour.

If you can keep your head while all about you are loosing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation.
