Starting resources limit adjustment

Looking to raise the limit on starting resources, have tried adding points to increase Gear Build Point Limit under the personal tab, but still gives me an overspend warning.

Any pointers? or is it a bug?

Am using the karma system of character gen.

Are you sure you've added enough?
I put a new character in there with alpha-synaptic reflexes 2 (320,000) for a warning and then put +14 ( x 5000 gives 70,000 extra nuyen) in "Gear Build Point Limit" and the warning has gone.

Added 200 and it was still there will try again and see what happens.

Just tried it again and it works for build point generation but not karma generation, will raise it as a bug.
