One rank of Quick Draw gives you either the ability to draw as a free action or to reload as a free action with buying two ranks giving you both. They probably should be separate feats, much like how Distract, Fascinate, and the like work. *wry grin* Of course, now you have the problem of the existing builds... assuming there's no way to set up an auto-change, the easiest thing to do would be to add a Quick Draw (reload) since most people get the Quick Draw for (draw), possibly with a Pre-Req such that you can't pick up the Quick Draw (reload) if you already have two ranks of the other Quick Draw.

^_^ Or maybe just something to remember when you're doing the 3E conversion, assuming they keep the structure of the feat.

Actually the wording of the feat says that with one rank you can Draw or Load a weapon as a free action, but you can do only one of these things each round, while with two ranks you can do both without limits.

e.g. with Quick draw 1 you can pick you bow as a Free action but you have to use a move action to load an arrow or, viceversa, use a move action to pick it up and a free action to load. With Quick draw 2 you can pick it up and load with 2 free actions.

Huh... in which case, this is one more case where most of the GR people implementing archetypes are doing the rule wrong, as they almost always state whether it's for drawing or for reloading with one rank.
