New Tyranids File?

Hello Lone Wolf Folks-

Any update as to when the data file for the new Tyranid codex will be available?

It will be at least 30 days from hardback release. That's the standing line on codexes.

Nobody knows I'm afraid, we havent' heard any word from the remaining devs for ages. I'm beginning to think AB for 40k is dead in the water. Last I heard was it is being worked on but......

Waiting *patiently* here as well...someone posted about it on the AB40K bug tracker. Can't say anything about the legitimacy but someone suggested it was in beta testing...

...Not to plug another product on LW forums, but 'Tyranid Army Creator 3.0' is a pretty good fill in until they get us an update.

I can confirm that the nid file is in internal beta testing. We are working on getting it finalized for what we think is safe for general public release. Stay tuned.

Hello,

Just got the new file, was building my army and unless i am mistaken, there appears to be a bug with the Tyranid Warriors options.

If i add 2 Deathspitters, and then add a Barbed Strangler that makes the unit into 4 models, if i go and take one model away it says that the options are not correct.

From the codex, it appears i can have 2 Warriors with Deathspitters and 1 with a Barbed Strangler, am i incorrect?
