I just purchased HL and I have to say I absolutely love it. It is far and away the best product of its type I have used so far. It is such a great tool for making characters and keeping track of my players characters in my games.

However we have a few house rules that stand in our games, and I was wondering if it would be an easy or hard thing to add them.

The first house rule deals with Experience Points.

We use a different Experience Point Chart for leveling. It follows the same basic idea of progression but the number of actual XP needed to go up in levels is different.

Can I implement a change like that to accommodate my game?

The second rule deals with skill point allocation. In my circle we have changed the total amount of skill points a class gets per level. Every class gets additional skill points, beyond what is listed in the SRD & PHB. Is there anyway to make that change?

The last house rule that would affect your program is feat progression. We give one extra feat that characters can take at 5th level. Is this something I can change as well?

Other then that the program is right on for our needs.

Not currently, unfortunately. I'll add that to the "to do" list.

You could edit all the classes and change the number of skill points
they get, but it's probably easier to go to the In-Play tab and add
adjustments for each class - one of the adjustments allows you to add
extra skill points to a class.

You can also add an adjustment to give yourself a bonus feat, so just do
that once you get to level 5.

Awesome! Glad you're enjoying it.

I don't believe that they have gotten around to doing this. I don't think it is likely to get an update, it seems like something that won't help too many people and the majority of their attention is focused on the Pathfinder system now anyway. We're kind of on the back burner (perhaps permanently?) here in the d20 system.

What I would recommend is to keep a record of what your current XP is and what the level up point is on the personal tab. That way whenever you hit the level up point you can just add whatever is needed (according to the usual tables) via the journal tab to level up. A workaround I know, sorry.

Please repost your question in the Pathfinder forum, then. The answer is different for the two different game systems.

The capability to alter the XP table has not been added to the d20 system, yet.
