I have an issue with the way I enter spell effects, specifically common buff spells. So far I can get most spell effects with Temporary Adjustments. But this means I need to create the exact same adjustment for each recipient of a single spell effect such as Haste, Bull's Strength, or Pro Evil. And some I can't even get the effect to work correctly at all. Divine Favor gives an attack bonus and a damage bonus. The attack bonus I figured out, but I can't seem to get a damage bonus. Am I missing something?
If not, I'd like to suggest adding spell effects (if it's not already there). You've already got a table of spells, right? So add the adjustment to the database and the ability to pick a spell as a temporary adjustment, then apply that spell's effects as a single temporary adjustment. Thoughts? |

Adding spell effects is a good idea, and it's already on the to-do list.
I'll get a damage adjustment added. In the editor, you can create new adjustments - you could use that to build a few of the more complex spells you use frequently. If you're building your own adjustments, the "Inspire Courage" effect should give you an example of how to add both an attack bonus and a damage bonus at the same time (well, it's a morale bonus vs. the luck bonus you want for divine favor - in the editor manual, accessed by selecting the help menu within the editor, go to the "Reference Information" link, and it will tell you about the various bonus types). |

I've done the Haste condition, if you want that for an example to look at. Message me and I'll send it over to you.
