Hi all,
Has anyone out there created a Savage Worlds: Mars data pack or something that I can down load, instead of trying to create it myself?

Thanks!
JoeOfMars!

Most of the official settings have files released directly in Hero Lab, so the only Mars setting I'm aware of is Space 1889. There have also been two licensee settings released, High Space and Gaslight. Also at the top of this forum there is a stickied thread for any other third-party systems that folks have made files for that they have offered to make available privately, so if you see a system there that you own and would like the data files for you would need to PM the appropriate individual with your email address so they can send it to you. I don't see Savage Mars among those either, though.

I could make one for the setting, but I don't own Savage Mars. However if you wanted to talk Adamant Entertainment into sending me a copy and get them to work out the details with Lone Wolf for an official release I'd be happy to put something together for them or help them do it.

Data files authored (please let me know if you see any issues with any of these if you have/use them):
Official (In the downloader)
50 Fathoms, Deadlands: Hell On Earth, Deadlands: Noir, East Texas University, Necessary Evil (requires Super Powers Companion), Pirates of the Spanish Main, Space 1889 (original file by Erich), Tour of Darkness, Weird War II, Weird Wars: Rome
Coming Eventually
Evernight (LWD has completed their review but I have some fixes to make first... although Pinnacle mentioned this might get an overhaul to SWADE so I may just wait for that first. If you just HAVE to have this now, though, just PM me)

Thanks Lenny! Since I PM'd you, I've been doing very well on figuring it out. In fact My biggest problem is trying not to over do it with the races! Equipment should be easy!

Let us know how that goes. I'd love to have Mars for Hero Lab.

Very cool. If you run into other issues feel free to ask. Usually jbearwillis and I check here fairly often, but there are others who can help (and know a lot more than I do) that pop in every now and then, too. I will make one suggestion, if you haven't already done it, to make your UniqueID have a 2-letter code in them. So let's say you make a "Strong" Racial Ability you might name it something like abSWStrong, so the "ab" is commonly used for abilities, then your 2-letter code of "SM" for Savage Mars, followed by whatever you want to name it. It makes it a lot easier to work with things when you have multiple .user files you might be working with. And, of course, be sure to create a unique Source and use it on everything in that setting that you create, otherwise your stuff for that setting will start showing up in your other settings as well.
