Hi all,

We just released an update, Army Builder 3.3a - this fixes a number of crash bugs people have been reporting. Please grab it if you're having issues with anything in AB3.3.

3.3a did not install when first attempted.

Error message was " Internal error: Failed to expand shell folder constant "userdocs". "

I have a networked laptop but was not connected to the network at the time. Connecting to the network only partially helped.

I figured out that My Documents was referring to a folder on a network drive version of My Documents (called H: ) and, when not connected to the network, 3.3a could not install because the H: drive was not available. I found that one must right click on My Documents and restore the default to the C drive under Documents and Settings. Then 3.3a installed properly and worked. This is probably a peculiar issue to my corporate network which does an auto-sync between my laptop and a network folder on a network hard drive whenever I shut down when connected to the network.

The "userdocs" error message indicates that our installer couldn't find your "My Documents" folder. Your network situation explains it, I assume - we assume that a "My Documents" folder will be present, since we need somewhere to store our Army Builder user files. If that isn't there, there's not a lot we can do.

Glad you got Army Builder working in the end
