Rogue Genius Games put out a couple of products that give more options for Deeds and Judgments. One of the suggestions for implementing them is to allow the player to choose the Deeds or Judgments instead of having a set to start with. For example, the Gunslinger would have 3 Deeds to select at 1st level instead of starting with deadeye, gunslinger’s dodge, and quick clear.
How do I do that? |

The smart people should be along with better details, but what I expect that they're going to say is that you should build this as Archetypes and set it up that way.
Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition Currently Playing: Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds |

Pretty much as charlieluce said.
In a little more detail have the archetype disable the class abilities that are now selected as "options". Then build them as "Custom Abilities" instead. Then have the archetype allow the custom ability selections at the desired levels. For an official example look at the Qinggong monk. That's going to be more work than I hoped. I guess I should get started!

You can do allot of copy/paste from the existing Class Specials to the Custom Specials. 99% of the script code should work without issues in both Things.
