I can't find the thread, but a while back, I put in a feature request for an "elevated player" option, and I don't recall the subsequent conversation (whether or not it was possible or being considered or D.O.A).
Basically, the concept is this. I'm the GM, and I have my normal group of players. I also have someone who is a co-GM. I would like to be able to invite the co-GM in the same manner as I would invite a player, except that they can view all topics, not just revealed topics. It would still be a read-only role, but one that can read everything. |

If I remember the upshot of this, it can't be done until Individual character (or individual player) reveal is possible. That would allow your co-GM to view everything once you set the flags to reveal everything to them. However, I believe there were other concerns or issues that prevented multiple GM's from having creation rights for the realm.
I haven't used it, but isn't there an import/export tool that can be used to bypass this limitation. Can't think of the creator of the tool though (surviving on 4 hours sleep today and going to bed now). |

This request is specifically to mark certain players as having read-only access but without the "player info" mask being applied to any of the data.
In theory it is a lot simpler than the individual player reveal, since it is only a flag indicating if only the revealed information, or all information, is available as read-only for a particular player. You could use my HTML output tool (http://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?t=59981) to provide an HTML output of the realm which would be read-only for the other co-GMs. Farling Author of the Realm Works Import tool, Realm Works Output tool and Realm Works to Foundry module Donations gratefully received via Patreon, Ko-Fi or Paypal |

I recall something similar to this too, but it's been so long since anything non-CM has been discussed in detail I don't remember where either.

Might the XML export/import tool be better? They could each import the others work directly into their RW database and have a semi-complete copy of the realm.

If you're talking about multiple editors, then the import/export tool is easier. If you're just talking about multiple viewers, having an elevated player would be easier ... for us users, anyway. I don't know what's involved on the development side.
