I was updating Hero Lab today & i put in my e-mail like i usually do but the update mechanism didn't recognize my email. my license code is

would it probably be resolved by Friday? That's when it will likely see use. (or maybe over the weekend)

They're usually pretty good about the 2-3 day thing. You did get your automated response from support the next day?
