In Manage Categories I have "Identifier" set to "Prefix" for a new Category called "Episode Guide" which is basically a copy of "Player Synopsis"
I thought this would allow me to put in a name like "Fire in Space" and an identifier of "1.12" to show that it was Episode 12 in season 1. I thought it would then display in the Story Almanac in episode order, but it is showing alphabetically as Fire in Space (1.12) Did I miss something somewhere that would cause it to display as "1.12 Fire in Space"? My Category is under "Other" in the Simple Grouping if that makes a difference. Thanks! |

You also need to configure the topic hierarchy to display topics with the identifier AS a prefix. There are many cases where you will want to sort by prefix but not actually show the identifier as a prefix. Go to the Options menu at the top (<F6>) and enable the option "Show Identifiers as Prefix When Available". Then you should be good to go.

Sleet was enjoying a tasty beverage at his local tavern, when a Tarrasque showed up in the local area. He managed to valiantly get on it's back and ride it. How he did it is a mystery to this day... OK, I guess that worked for me when I set those for the Story Almanac. What does the Identifier: Prefix/Suffix choice when defining a Category do then? I was expecting that to affect where the identifier was displayed (in both any lists and when you are entering data for a new one).
