Problems with custom abilities

IN the custom abilities tab the uniqueness selector is set to no and cannont be changed. In the example in the editor handbook it says this tab must be set to unique so a custom ability can only be selected once. I had no problems with this until I installed the new update. Is this a known Problem.

all other functions of the custom ability are working fine it shows the cutom ability under class and the number of choices is correct but when you try to select a custom ability a dialog box pops up and says there are none to select.

I'm afraid I can't duplicate this. On the "Custom Ability" tab, if I add a new item, it defaults to "Unique" but can be changed.
